Ein kaltes Heizelement, eine Glühlampe oder ein LED-Treiber mit Kondensatoren am Eingang kann in den ersten Millisekunden ein Vielfaches des Nennstroms ziehen. Schließen die Kontakte nahe dem Scheitel der Sinuskurve (325 V bei einer 230-V-AC-Leitung), trifft sie der volle Stromstoß auf einen Schlag.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Das zweite ist der Lichtbogen beim Ausschalten. Das Trennen eines Stromkreises bei voller Spannung erzeugt einen Lichtbogen zwischen den sich öffnenden Kontakten. Jeder Lichtbogen schmilzt einen kleinen Teil der Kontaktoberfläche ab. Die Spannung an der Last steigt dann allmählich von null an, statt in einem einzigen Schritt auf den vollen Wert zu springen, und beim Ausschalten fehlen die Bedingungen für einen Lichtbogen.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Die Vorteile sind in der Industrieautomation gut dokumentiert: Kontakte, die vor Einschaltströmen geschützt sind, kein Lichtbogen beim Trennen, geringere EMV-Emissionen und eine deutlich höhere zulässige Lastleistung für das physikalisch identische Relais.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Diese Funktion wird üblicherweise als eigene Hardware umgesetzt: als spezielles Relais mit Synchronisationsschaltung oder als Halbleiterrelais mit Nulldurchgangserkennung. Drei Elemente sorgen dafür:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Nachführschaltung für die Spannung.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Ein eigener Messpfad mit einem ADC überwacht den Spannungsverlauf der geschalteten Leitung und gibt dessen Form an den Prozessor des Moduls weiter.\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Nulldurchgangserkennung.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Die Firmware erkennt jeden Nulldurchgang im abgetasteten Verlauf und misst laufend die Periode der Netzspannung.\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Vorhersage und Vorlaufzeit.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Fordert die Installationslogik das Ein- oder Ausschalten eines Kanals an, berechnet das Modul, wann der nächste passende Nulldurchgang eintritt, und steuert die Relaisspule genau um die Ansprechzeit des Kontakts früher an. Ein elektromagnetisches Relais schaltet nicht sofort: Zwischen dem Spulenimpuls und dem physischen Schließen der Kontakte vergehen mehrere Millisekunden. Erstens wählten wir Relais mit Kontakten, die für hohe Einschaltströme ausgelegt sind (bis zu 80 A für 20 ms je Kontakt im RELAY-Modul). Zweitens schaltet jeder AC-Kanal im Spannungsnulldurchgang. Die Kombination hält den Kontaktabbrand minimal und verlängert die Kontaktlebensdauer deutlich.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch2 id=\"was-der-anwender-gewinnt\">\u003Ca href=\"#was-der-anwender-gewinnt\" class=\"anchor\">#\u003C\u002Fa> Was der Anwender gewinnt\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\u003Cp>Kurz gesagt: Dasselbe Relais übersteht bei anspruchsvollen Lasten deutlich mehr Schaltspiele. In der Praxis ergeben sich daraus einige konkrete Vorteile.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Längere Lebensdauer der Installation.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Eine per Thermostat geregelte Elektroheizung durchläuft pro Jahr Hunderte und in intensiven Szenarien bis zu einige tausend Schaltspiele, allesamt unter voller Last. Das Schalten im Nulldurchgang nimmt jedem dieser Schaltspiele den Stromstoß, sodass die Kontakte um ein Vielfaches langsamer verschleißen. Das RELAY-Modul schaltet Stromkreise bis 16 A (Kategorie AC1) und ist genau für Heizungen, Heizmatten und Steckdosenkreise gedacht.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Sicheres Schalten von LED-Beleuchtung.\u003C\u002Fstrong> LED-Treiber haben einen kapazitiven Eingang und hohe Einschaltströme. Sie sind die häufigste Ursache verschweißter Kontakte in herkömmlichen Installationen. Das Schalten im Nulldurchgang begrenzt den Ladestrom der Kondensatoren auf einen allmählichen Anstieg entlang der Sinuskurve.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Weniger Störungen auf der Leitung.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Das Schalten bei null Spannung erzeugt keine steilen di\u002Fdt-Flanken, sodass die Installation keine Impulse abbekommt, die die Elektronik in anderen Stromkreisen stören könnten.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Weniger Serviceeinsätze.\u003C\u002Fstrong> Ein verschweißtes Relais in der Verteilung bedeutet, den Installateur zu rufen und das Modul zu tauschen. Wer den wichtigsten Verschleißmechanismus beseitigt, senkt die Zahl solcher Eingriffe.
