A modern timber-frame house built with HBE technology — designed for comfortable living and recreation, with complete Voldeno automation from lighting and climate to energy monitoring and garden irrigation.
The barn-inspired silhouette, open-plan layout, and generous glazing created the perfect canvas for a comprehensive Voldeno installation. Built just outside the city in an area ideal for recreation, the house was designed from the ground up with smart home infrastructure woven into its fabric.
The lighting system covers indoor and outdoor zones with pre-configured scenes for entertaining, relaxation, and nighttime. The climate system manages electric heating and a heat pump across multiple zones, working in coordination with automated shading that adjusts based on sun position and indoor temperature.
Energy monitoring tracks consumption per circuit, with PV integration maximizing self-consumption. The garden irrigation system uses soil moisture sensors and weather data to optimize water usage automatically.
A separate building on the property houses a Finnish sauna with large glazing overlooking the garden. Voldeno controls the sauna heater and monitors temperature, allowing the owner to start a session remotely and get a notification when the target temperature is reached.
The property's gate is automated and integrated with the alarm system — arriving home disarms the alarm and opens the gate in a single action, while the "Away" scene arms the alarm, verifies the gate is closed, and adjusts all indoor systems.
